The Grand Duke plus Trial by Jury and Thespis

Join us for our fabulous 2016-2017 season!  The Grand Duke was the final collaboration of Gilbert & Sullivan, and will be our main stage show in the spring of 2017.  Thespis was their first work, for which most of the music has been lost.  Our own Alan Riley Jones has composed a fantastic fully orchestrated score for Thespis, which we will be premiering along with a performance of Gilbert & Sullivan’s one-act play, Trial by Jury in October of 2017.

Performances of The Grand Duke will be March 30 – April 2, 2017 at the Carolina Theatre, 309 W Morgan St, Durham, NC.  Tickets are now on sale.

We’ll also be performing Trial by Jury and Thespis in October of 2017.

Our Public Sing-Through of Trial by Jury and Thespis will be Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at 2pm in the Durham Arts Council.
