During the COVID-19 lockdown in the fall of 2020, The Durham Savoyards, Ltd. performed Gilbert’s “tragic episode in 3 tableaux,” Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, to learn how to do a distanced virtual performance.  The dialogue was recorded independently during a joint Zoom session under the direction of Melissa S. Craib Dombrowski, and then edited together by producer John Paul Middlesworth.  Costumes, makeup, and props were largely supplied by the actors themselves.
