Set Designer

  • Coordinate with Artistic Director to get a clear understanding of the concept of the production
  • Meet regularly with Artistic Director, Master Carpenter, Technical Director, Lighting Designer, and Choreographer to discuss construction
  • Familiar with stage layout and fly grid for the performance venue
  • Provide detailed design drawings by agreed upon deadline, drawn to scale with measurements included, to the Technical Director and Master Carpenter for use in construction process
  • Create designs that can be built within the budget provided by producer
