Choreographer

Create choreography for all musical numbers
Responsible for conducting auditions and call backs with the Music Director and Artistic Director and casting the production based on those auditions
Coordinate rehearsals with Artistic Director & Musical Director
Present choreography to performers in clear/understandable way
Familiar with physical layout of set & stage
Familiar with entire script, concept, and characterizations
Create choreography that fits in the flow/characterizations/concept of the show
Coordinate with Musical Director to be sure choreography is set to the correct tempo
Able to work with different ability levels within cast
Work closely with costumer to be sure performers can perform choreography in the costumes and shoes
