Technical Director

Coordinate with Master Carpenter, Lighting Designer, and performance venue Technical Director about technical needs of production
Coordinate load in and strike schedule with performance venue Technical Director and communicate details to Master Carpenter and Lighting Designer
Familiar with stage layout and fly grid for the performance venue
Responsible for the DSL road box and the equipment therein while at the performance venue
Responsible for safety checks, proper care and use of DSL tools while at the performance venue
Liaison between performance venue running crew and DSL running crew
Coordinate with Conductor and Orchestra Manager for proper set up of orchestra pit
Arrange for running crew members as needed
Coordinate availability of DSL first aid kit at performance venue and restocking as needed
Fulfill duties of Master Carpenter if there is no Master Carpenter for that production
Cannot be a member of the cast
