Rehearsals

University Mall

The University Mall concert will be Sunday, December 16th, 2007 at 3PM. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday, November 27th at The Forest at Duke and on Tuesday, December 11th at 7PM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Chapel Hill Senior Center

Our concert at the Chapel Hill Senior Center will be Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Rehearsals will be Tuesday, September 18th, Tuesday, October 9th, and Tuesday, October 16th. The rehearsal on October 9th will be in the Duke Power Room of the Durham Arts Council from 7 to 10PM. The rehearsal on October 16th will be at the Chapel Hill Senior Center from 7 to 9PM. Kay Bailey will conduct the concert. Thomas Warburton will be our accompanist. We would like to get copies of the non-chorus pieces to him before the rehearsal on the 9th so he will have time to practice them. If Kay has asked you to sing a special piece, please let Kim Kingsley know what it is. She has some copies of music from the Forest at Duke concert so she may already have a copy. You and she can work out getting copies of other pieces at another time. Other rehearsal times and locations will be announced at a later date.

Croasdaile Village

Our concert at Croasdaile Village Retirement Center will be Sunday, May 27th, 2007 at 3:00 PM in Ponder Auditorium. Rehearsals will be Wednesday, May 23rd at 8PM and Saturday, May 26th at 9:30 AM in Ponder Auditorium.

Duke University East Campus

Our concert at Duke University East Campus has been cancelled.

Fearrington Village

Our concert at the Fearrington Village will be Sunday, October 7th, 2007 at 5:00 PM. We will rehearse Tuesday, September 18th and Thursday, October 4th at 7PM at the Durham Arts Council. Alan Riley Jones will conduct the concert. Samuel Hammond will be our accompanist.

Directions: From Chapel Hill/Durham: Take 15-501 South towards Pittsboro. Turn left onto Village Way into the main entrance of Fearrington Village. Turn right onto Swim & Croquet, turn right into a parking lot. The Gathering Place is to the left of the parking lot.

The Forest at Duke

Our concert at The Forest at Duke will be Friday, July 27th, 2007 at 3:30 PM in the auditorium of their community center. Rehearsals will be on Monday, July 23rd at 7PM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Thursday, July 26th at 6:45 PM at The Forest at Duke. Scott Hill will be our accompanist.

If you are interested in solo, duet, or trio work for this concert, please be sure to bring two (2) copies of your music to the first rehearsal and be prepared to leave one copy with Scott.

Please be aware that the concert is scheduled to last one hour. Because the time is strictly set, Kay will have to be selective when arranging the program. If you are unable to attend either rehearsal, you are welcome to sing in the chorus. Please be understanding.

Southern Village

The Southern Village concert will be Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at 7PM on the green at Southern Village in Chapel Hill. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday, July 18th and Wednesday, July 25th at 7PM in the Duke Power Room of the Durham Arts Council. Alan Beason will be our accompanist.

If you are interested in solo, duet, or trio work for this concert, please be sure to bring two (2) copies of your music to the first rehearsal and be prepared to leave one copy with Alan.
